About Me

I am a lawyer who helps small businesses, nonprofits and individuals with contracts, agreements and business/nonprofit formation and governance. I also am knowledgeable about government and environmental law.

After working for an international law firm in New York, I decided I wanted to make a positive, local impact, so I opened my own law firm in Seattle.

I earned my BA from Tulane University and my JD from the University of Chicago Law School. I have lived all over the US and am thrilled to called the PNW my home.

Practice Areas

You're the expert in running your business. You shouldn't have to worry about the law back end. Let me help you with your employment agreements, HR policies, lease negotiations, business acquisition or sale, commercial contracts and negotiations and more, so you can focus on your business and doing what you love.

Turning a great idea for a nonprofit into a fully functioning organization takes a ton of dedication and also legal knowledge. I am an approved specialist with 501Commons and I work with nonprofits on organizational structure, commercial contracts, employment  agreements, HR polices and general legal advice so they can succeed.

Artists

Creating and selling your content often involves complex laws and agreements. I work with artists to create easy-to-understand agreements and provide helpful advice in navigating the laws that impact their businesses. I can help you, so you can focus your energy on creativity--not legal issues.

Planning for the future is complex. Working with a lawyer can help simplify things. I can assist you with your estate planning.
